Americana Spirit with a Country Heart

About

Trish Torline is a country-rooted singer-songwriter whose heartfelt originals and storytelling reflect her signature style—Americana Spirit. Country Heart.

“There’s something special about the way Trish shares her music. It feels real, honest, and straight from the heart. You don’t just hear her songs—you feel them.”

Trish has received multiple nominations at the Josie Music Awards, held annually at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. These nominations recognize her work across several categories, including Album of the Year, Song of the Year: Country, Folk, and Holiday, and Vocal Event of the Year. These nominations showcase the depth and versatility of her songwriting, as well as her strength as a vocalist who connects with audiences across multiple genres.

When Trish Torline was very young, some of her favorite moments were spent sitting beside her mother on the piano bench. She would listen as her mom played, occasionally learning simple melodies of her own. But one song captured her imagination more than any other—Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata. Every time her mother sat down at the piano, Trish would ask to hear it again.

Those quiet moments around the piano became something special. The music felt personal, intimate—like a conversation shared without words.

One day, while her mother was working in the kitchen, she thought she heard the opening notes of Moonlight Sonata coming from the living room. Just a few notes. She brushed it off, thinking she must have imagined it. But then she heard it again—this time a few measures more.

Curious, she walked toward the living room. When she turned the corner, there sat young Trish at the piano bench, carefully picking out the opening of Moonlight Sonata with her right hand.

In that moment, a lifelong journey with music quietly began.

Today, Trish carries that same spirit into every performance. She believes music is at its best when it feels personal—when a song reaches beyond the stage and connects heart to heart. Whether performing her original songs or sharing stories behind the music, her goal is simple: to create the same kind of moment she experienced as a child on that piano bench—an experience where music becomes something shared, meaningful, and unforgettable.

“Trish brings a rare combination of heartfelt songwriting and genuine connection to the stage. Her performances are engaging, professional, and deeply moving—an artist who truly knows how to connect with an audience.”

As she continues to build momentum, Trish is currently in the studio recording her upcoming single and preparing for her May 16th concert at Holla Holler Music Venue in Irvine, KY, as part of the WayMaker Concert Series—bringing new music and meaningful live experiences to her audience.
